The Best Part - My family!"
Bobbie kept the household running while
I tried to bring home the
bacon. By golly, that seems to have worked! We believe we were truly
blessed along the way to have our family turn out as it has, thus
far.
Our daughter, Jenni, and her husband,
Brian, gave us two Grand daughters a few years ago - Ashley and
Brittany are doing great! Last January they purchased a new condo
in Simi Valley, CA, where they can enjoy the peace of a lake right
out their front door, as they watch bunnies and deer – all
in the shadows of LA – awesome!
Besides work as a financial consultant,
Brian coaches teams ’de jour, and supports his alumni at California
Lutheran University. Jenni is teaching at the CLU Pre-school and
makes motherhood look easy in that fast-paced community. I don’t
know how they do it, but in my book, they are building some pretty
fine people in that household!
Brad, ’98 Ag, has just pinned on Captain in the
Air Force. He is stationed Great Falls, MT as a Missile Operations
Officer and was recently selected as Flight Commander. He seems
to be doing things a lot smarter that his dad - he is often recognized
for his outstanding performance. He goes for hiking, hunting, and
skiing in the local areas. OK, I’m biased a bit, but he’s
a great guy!
